Music & Me (Levels 1, 2, 3) is a high energy, hands on, joy filled experience in music literacy designed for children ages 6 to 9

During this 30 week program which meets once a week for 45 minutes, your child will learn to read, write, sing, play music and develop good vocal ability in a fun filled environment.

These abilities are learned through joyful singing and listening games, folk songs, playing of instruments and movement to music.

Music and Me is based on the Kodály Approach to music literacy. The tools your child will use to reach his/her full musical potential are solidly founded within this method. They include:

Solfege – (do re mi) for beautiful singing.

Hand signs – to guide his/her eye and ear.

Speech Rhythms – for easier rhythmic reading

Simple – rhythmic and melodic writing
