A New Voice at WeJoySing: Linda Saxton says, "Hello!"

There’s a new voice on the telephone line, as the WeJoySing family proudly announces the arrival of a new administrative assistant: Linda Saxton. Though in the infancy of her employment with WeJoySing, this office “babe” is no fledgling to organization and efficiency. Of this quick learner’s skills and talents, WeJoySing Director Jo Kirk commented, “Everything is running so smoothly….I can hardly believe Linda has only been with us a few months!”

Linda first met Jo Kirk six years ago when Jo’s husband, Ken, was appointed as the minister at Grove City United Methodist church, where Linda is a member. Now Linda has had the opportunity to get to know Jo on a professional level. Linda comments that working at WeJoySing is very different from her past work in the “business world.” She says that the people she’s met in connection with WeJoySing (parents and teachers alike) are “warm, loving, and seem to have the same goals in mind.” That goal is doing what’s best for children, and appreciating the JOY of music and life together. “Jo has a way of [identifying and bringing out wonderful qualities in people, and God has blessed this group of people.”

When Linda is not spending time registering children for WeJoySing, she and her husband Dennis enjoy spending time with their seven grandchildren! Since their three married sons and their families live out of the Columbus area, they have become quite the travelers. “I’m waiting for someone….anyone….to move closer to home!” Linda says that each member of her family is “an amazing gift from God.”
