She's Finally Arrived!
Mrs. Donna - North Canton

WeJoySingIt might be said that Amy’s training for this position began more than five years ago. Amy is well-suited for this position because she knows and values what WeJoySing has to offer. She appreciates how WeJoySing carries over into our home-life to make it more JOYFUL, creating a wonderful parent-child bond. Amy understands these things because she was first a WeJoySing parent.

“I brought my youngest daughter to Mrs. Holly’s classes several years ago and she’s nine now. I believe in the philosophies behind WeJoySing, because I saw the advantages of Heart Strings first-hand as a parent, even years after Emily was in the program…”

Amy first entertained the idea of working for WeJoySing even then. “I thought it would be neat to be a teacher…” Amy sings solos at church and has been a member of the Grove City Chamber Singers for twenty years. With this group, she’s sung the National Anthem at Reds games and traveled to Austria on tour. She also participates in a clogging group at her church, along with daughters Meagan (12) and Emily (9).

With all of this musical talent, Amy certainly could have stepped into the realm of teaching for WeJoySing, and yet she felt she was being called to make a difference for the parents of WeJoySing in an administrative capacity. “The way things meshed together, even in the interview….I just knew that God was leading me in this direction,” says Amy. “I love being a part of this side of things, having the interaction with parents and being able to share what I know is beneficial.”

Amy says her first weeks have been challenging, learning the workings of the office, but also “wonderfully diverse. Every family brings something different. It’s been a real JOY. I’ve loved it…and the instructors are awesome!”

Amy’s love of music and family (she’s been married to hubby Alan for twenty years this June!) is sure to impact the WeJoySing Family. Already, she’s enjoyed interacting with the parents, helping them find the classes that will work best for them to have the maximum impact on their lives. “The thing that really strikes me [about WeJoySing is] the love of music and the parent-child bond. When you combine those, what a special gift! I’m excited to get to be a part of leading someone else to that experience with their child.”

A Note From Mrs. Jo
Amy is full of enthusiasm…perfect from head to toe for everything that WeJoySing stands for. We are absolutely thrilled to have her not only as part of the extended family of WeJoySing, but also as an integral member of our staff. She’ll be such a help to parents as they call in for Spring Registration.
Welcome, Amy! You’re Hired!

"Sing"cerely,
Mrs. Jo
