Marysville’s Julie Paige Impacts her Community
 Julie Paige first joined the WeJoySing “Dance" as a parent, when her son, Alec, was just six months old. As Alec entered preschool, she discovered that WeJoySing was hiring new teachers. It was a perfect fit for her family and WeJoySing. “Mrs. Julie” smiles and recalls, “The rest is history!”
Now, Julie is making WeJoySing history with a start-up in her own community: Marysville, Ohio. Because she values the program and enjoyed the dynamic it brought to her relationship with Alec, for years she traveled to Columbus to attend (and later to teach) classes. Finally, this fall, Julie’s dream of expanding “WeJoySing Territory” to Marysville became a reality.
Marysville WeJoySing classes are held at Marysville First UM Church (S. Court St.) on Friday mornings. Mrs. Julie is excited to “educate the parents on the importance of music in their child’s development, especially in the first few months of life.” Julie holds a master’s degree in education and taught in the public schools for 5 years. She is now in her second year as a WeJoySing instructor. As an educator and also as a mother, Julie Paige knows that music has the power to shape a child’s future.
