Serena DeGarmo is thrilled to be returning to the WeJoySing family after a three year absence while doing missionary work in Canada. Serena has actively led a children’s ministry for infants to preschoolers in Columbus, Ohio and Ontario, Canada and the Philippine Islands resulting in the development of her own curriculum based on song.

Serena began her life in music at the age of five studying piano, followed by flute and vocal training which she continued throughout college. Furthering her education at Western Kentucky University, Florida College, and Ohio University, her background is in Early Childhood Education. After teaching at two Columbus area preschools for many years, Serena left the classroom to stay home with her son. Now as a mother of three, Serena is returning to share her experience and love of music with others.
